  • Home care provides basic caregiving services that do not require nurse supervision as well as other services such as cooking, cleaning, and transportation.

    Home health provides advanced nursing care such as diabetes and medication management, delegated tasks such as bowel programs and ostomy care, and physical therapy, occupational therapy, other RN-preformed nursing tasks and durable medical equipment.

    Honey Healthcare is licensed by the State of Washington to provide Home Health and Home Care.

  • A Plan of Care or POC is an individualized and uniquely tailored tool that outlines your needs, goals, and facilitates your physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care.

  • If you wish to have a family member or representative participate in your care, you are encouraged to do so; however, you have the right to choose whether or not and to what extent an individual is involved.

  • You will be cared for by our caregivers who are Certified Nursing Assistants who have passed the WA State skills and written exam and who have undergone extensive background checks, reference checks, and who have demonstrated independent skills verification.

    If you require skilled care such as medication administration, diabetes management, wound care, or other tasks that require a nurse, you will also work with an RN as needed.

  • Our schedulers and supervisors will work closely with you to ensure that the caregiver assigned is the right fit and meets your expectations.

  • If the caregiver is not a good match, we will find a replacement. We value both positive and negative feedback and encourage constructive communication. In fact, we have a Quality Improvement Program that consists of annual surveys, confidential grievance reports, and an organized investigation process. You will always have access to our management team including supervisors, and the Director of Clinical Services.

  • Transportation is included as a service, and the only additional costs incurred would be for mileage, tolls, or parking if the caregiver uses their own vehicle.

  • We currently accept private pay in the form of ACH, physical check, or debit.

    We also qualify for and work with long-term insurance (LTC) providers. Some of our current LTC providers include GenWorth, Davies, and MedAmerica; however, as a licensed home health agency, we qualify to partner with any LTC provider.

  • We do not currently require a deposit.

  • No. You are charged an hourly rate for caregiving which is dependent on your service category (home care or home health). If you require additional services that require an RN, you will be charged based on your Client Service Agreement.

  • The billing cycle occurs once every week; however, depending on how many hours you utilize services per month, we may bill less frequently.

  • While you will be bound to a Client Service Agreement that outlines our terms, your responsibilities, and your rights during our partnership, you are free to cancel our services with a 24 hour notice without penalty.

  • We do not have a weekly minimum. Rather, we have a four hour minimum per shift.

  • In order to protect the well-being of our clients and employees, our staff wear face masks, per our clients request, practice good hygiene, are trained on infection control, and follow current CDC guidelines.
